My boyfriend is inappropriately texting an ex
My boyfriend of 8 months had been sending inappropriate messages to a girl he dated. They both said nothing physical happened, it was just a joke. I spoke with both of them and they both admitted it was wrong but it didngo further than messages. He lied and hid it from me. Is this cheating or will it lead to cheating?

Is he insecure (see truth about attachment)? Does he have a high sex drive (see who is likely to cheat)? If you can identify the motivation underlying his behavior that will help you better understand how to address the issue.
