Do I really need to repeat myself? I wasn't kidding or jokeing around when I said that there is a good chance she will attempt suicede. Please, do us all a favor and don't make me repeat it. And I'll be sad w/ or w/o her. I just don't want her to kill herself. Oh, not to mention she hates any sort of counceler type person.

If you REALLY think and feel that she will kill herself, and you REALLY believe that she is in that state of mind, that unstable, then the way I see it the only option at this point that you have, no let me correct that - it isn't an option, it's an obligation!...is that you need to contact the appropriate authorities to let them know that a person you have a relationship with is contemplating suicide. I didn't notice if said what the ages were here, but if she is living at home, under the age of 15/16 then first you alert her parents. If that isn't taken seriously, then you call DSS. If she is in college, you can talk to your college HR or administration. If she is living alone as an adult you can call a suicide prevention hot line (every state has one).

The problem between the two of you is not of the utmost importance at this point, if you think and believe she is that unstable that she might commit suicide, then you, as a moral human being, are obligated to call someone so she can get help to prevent something that is irreversable.

Um yeah, I doubt her parents/mom would really care, until after she was dead. And if you read the previous posts, she doesn't know where her dad is. And I would have told someone a long time ago accept she lives in another state, and she is 15/16.

It doesn't matter that she lives in another state. If you go to the DCFS or DSS office in your state they can take the situation and help you do something about it. It doesn't matter that her mother/father aren't involved, that is irrelevant. If you really feel that she is at risk of committing suicide, you CAN do something to prevent that which is above and beyond you trying to control the situation yourself.

Get a hold of that other fella she was going out with maybe both of you can come up with something, that everyone here can't, talk with him see if he cares about her as much as you do.

you are both 15/16 and she lives in another state??? and she is telling you she cant wont live without you...

I agree with daisy's post.
