Jealousy and possessiveness are totally destructive and must be completely off putting.I have felt as if I have lost the feisty ,independent person I was and become the harridan from hell .

My faincee broke up with me 3 days ago. Then had a new boyfriend instantly. One month after we got engaged she slowly but more and more often expressed these signs:
1. Stopped saying "I love you" during sex which we tpyically do.
2. Started to have cycles of not wanting any sex and wanting it constantly.
3. Wanted to try new sexual activites that she claimed in the past hurt her or she thought were gross.
4. Started to care about her weight more than usual.
5. She stopped texting and emailing me. When she called me she stopped talking about her day and asking me how mine was.
6. She started looking away from me when we talked. Often kept a few feet distance on our dates when normally she leaned on me or held my hand.
7. Got a new email account.
8. Didn't start arguments, but when I confronted her with problems she got mad at me and blew up often.
9. Started using birth control pills. We used condoms.
10. Asked her boss for more hours at work.
11. She and her family always did things without me which would always upset or depress her. Suddently she seemed not to care or even be excited about leaving.
12. Tell me one thing and tell her friends the other.
i.e. I am going to hate my vacation with my family. Then say to her friend privatly: I can't wait to go.
13. Stopped saying she missed me.
14. Started doing things we both agreed we would not do behind my back.
15. Stopped introducing me as her fiancee behind my back and sometimes in front of me "on accidant."
The last thing she said to me before leaving on a 1 week cruise was that she "loved me and couldn't wait to marry me". The first thing I heard when she retuned was "I can't do this, it's over, don't try to contact me again." She did this over the phone.
I later found out through her friends and myspace that she had been sleeping with a worker on the ship she was on and is having a long distance relationship with him now.
That was the only affair that I know of. But now I moderatly suspect she has been having minor affairs all along.

always keeps his cell phone in his pocket. Ignored calls sometimes when i was around. I first knew when he read a text message and giggled like a giddy girl.

I feel your pain...going through this too; with my husband for 12 years; suddenly he wants sex every night (and wanting different things all of a sudden AND also watching porn...have caught him several times)found out
he had started contacting his "first love" (online affair which I believe would have turned into physical if I hadn't intervened), so my theory is that he's fantasizing about her but since I'm the only one there I guess I'll have to do.
Now he has supposedly stopped contacting her, and whaddya know....suddenly the libido has dropped down to where it was before. I am so bitter about people in general now that I don't even know what to say.
