"The cellphone Incident" Story 2 Years, 6 Months ago
My boyfriend left his cell phone in my car by accident after one of his soccer games. I discovered his cellphone was in my car once i got home. I decided to open it although I wasn't expecting to see anything that was deceitful. I didnt expect to see a text message from a girl and missed phone calls from the same girl. The text message said "I had a dream about you last night, and i wont tell you what it was because i want it to come true." he texted her back saying "well are u going to tell me ur dream or what?" Once my boyfriend could contact me from a different cellphone, he sounded a little panicky and said he needed to rush to my house asap (probably so i wouldnt catch any "deceitful" phone calls.) His behavior was so nervous and out of character after he saw me and got his cellphone back, that i knew my suspesions must be true. Although the cellphone provided me with minimal evidence of cheating, I lost allot of the trust I had in him. Since I didnt have solid proof of him cheating i desided to stay with him and i NEVER brought up what i saw in his text message. Months after the cellphone incident I find myself anxtious everytime his cell rings, and its painful because I thought I could get past it but it's too difficult no matter how much I tell myself that it's alright. I blieve that the relationship will end soon.

My story is very similar to Jenny's because I saw my boyfriends'ex-girlfriends number on his phone and he still talks to her and sends her messages yet insists that they're only friends. They broke up years ago and he married another woman and divorced before we met. I cant stop checking his phone and her number is usually on it and I dont know if I should believe him or not. She lives in a different country which is his hometown and I'm sure he sees her whenever he visits his children and it's torturing me. I stopped fighting about it but it makes me very unhappy. He is also being very hard on me on this topic and wont discuss it and insists that they're just good friends yet he never tells her about us and I called her once and told her to stay away from him and that he loves me not her and he was very angry and we had a big fight so I stopped mentioning her to avoid a breakup. I keep telling myself that even if he did have any feelings for her she lives so far from us and he loves me and is sharing his life with me but then my jealousy and suspicions still make me very miserable. Should I believe him or just walk out because I'm sure there's more to their relationship then friendship but I'm terrified of losing him because I love him so much.
